who’s bill Allen?

The AJC Bill Allen blog is still open for business, click below and send in your remarks. Let people know that if HB1059 is allowed to stand, it will create the LARGEST FORCED RELOCATION of women and children and AMERICAN CITIZENS since the Japanese-Americans were sent to internment camps during World War II. Let people know that in the ten core Atlanta Metro counties, of 2533 registered offenders and their families, 2482 will have to move. Then ask them how they cannot see that as a LARGE SCALE FORCED RELOCATION?

Here is the link, make your voices heard:

Bill Allen is a reporter that disagrees with the recent GA Sex Offender Restrictions. He is absolutely correct in being against these new restrictions. All these do is give society a false sense of security. 90 to 95% of child molestation happens by someone the child knows, parent, relative, babysitter, teacher, coach, etc.

What this country needs is to look toward PREVENTION instead of restrictions. Most prisons do not even have sex offender treatment therapy. That means that when the person has finished their time, THEN they are in society and THEN they have the sex offender treatment therapy. And while they are struggling with paying probation every week, therapy, and possibly victim restitution, they are being denied employment, a place to live and many other things that do nothing but bring them down and keep them from becoming productive members of society. The Feds need to step in here. They need to force ALL states to provide sex offender treatment therapy. Prison should be for rehabilitation not just sitting idly passing the days away.

By the way, one of the restrictions is 1,000 feet from a church. Was I asleep the day they made an amendment to the Constitution for the right to have freedom of religion? When exactly did I miss that?
