Long Island NY?
Anyone know where I can go camping on a beach like near the ocean on long island.
Smith Point County Park has campgrounds, and it’s right on the Atlantic Ocean: http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/departments/parks/Smith%20Point%20County%20Park.aspx
It’s just south of Mastic Beach on the eastern end of Fire Island.
Call ahead for permits and campground fees.
