Beach Camping Nj
Is it illegal to camp on the beach in NJ?
My friends & I are trying to plan our summer as best we can.
For example, the point of me asking this question is to try & firm up one of our ideas.
We all would love to know if it’s illegal to camp on the jersey shore. & if not, We’d all appreciate if someone would let us know where we could camp!!

I live in NJ, and I’ve slept at the beach before. I don’t think it’s illegal but I’m not 100%. I’m sure not sure if it’d be that big of a deal if you got caught as long as you don’t “disturb the peace”
