The typical journey of a beach hotel is expensive, to say the least. How, then, you can find a cheap beach vacation? Start by identifying what really want.

Do you really need to stay in a big resort? If that's important to you, and you still want to save some money on your travel has to be a little flexible on dates. Try the "shoulder season" (just before the season starts or immediately after you start to relax). Often there are offers that will save up to 50% now. They may only keep track of dates for both plane tickets and hotels. Sometimes the difference in a day or two can save you hundreds of dollars.

What if you do not need a big resort experience? What if I only want to visit any beach in warm sand and relaxing? What if you're not sure what you want, but you know you have to be a beach holiday cheap? Here are some of the less expensive alternatives.

Caretaking Holidays

In Hawaii, California and Costa Rica may have someone waiting for you to come and stay at home while they are away. Oh, you may have to water the plants and receives mail for them, but instead come to stay in a beautiful home. Just find one of these opportunities near a beach care. Find a Friend

It's good to have friends with spare beds living in interesting places, especially if near the beach. Perhaps some friends have said that to come and stay awhile. Why not spend that time? While you're at it, encourage your friends to go pleasant beach resort cities.

Beach Holiday Camp

You've probably seen the ads for Corona beer. Relaxing on the beach with a drink – now that sounds like a great time. Restless? Collect seashells and branches up and down the coast, or take a metal detector and a treasure hunt. Taking a bath when it gets too hot, and watch the sunset every night.

How is this a cheap beach vacation? When camping. In Florida, Texas and many other places you can camp in your RV, or in a store, right next to the ocean. We liked to state parks in northern Florida, where we saw dolphins swimming and flew a comet while collecting some of the more colorful seashells we have seen. $ 24 per night was much cheaper than hotels in the area, and if you wanted camps, not were free to go really cheap within thirty minutes from the coast.

Choose a new beach

The great lakes are like oceans of water sweet, but cheaper to visit. In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in particular, can often find cheap motels on or near the beach. Most people visit these shores in summer, although the best deals may be in September, while days are still warm and the water that is warmer.

Sharing the cost

If you have friends who also want a cheap beach vacation, you can get together to reduce the cost. This may mean sharing a room as college students do during spring break, or rent an RV together. If you are really cheap so everyone can come in the car and drive to the nearest beach with a couple hot tents.
