Camping Bay Area Ca

One of the recommended martial arts classes?
I live in the Bay Area, CA. IM also, what kind of martial arts, would be useful for knowledge of the street and stuff? looking for a kind of summer camp …
Stay away from McDojo's. That is a term for a school that is too commercialized. No school that is serious about teaching art military should deal with children by throwing birthday parties, a McDojo. Want a school that is a hard core gym if you really want to learn self-defense. You have to Spar and take some punishment in order to learn, not a walk in the park, and is not easy. I suppose you're a girl and to be honest enoughing not going to learn boxing and striking in one summer to defend against an attacker, and none of the fake wrist grabs and step on the foot work. I would suggest a kind of Jiu-Jitsu. Any attacker will grab and in most girl fights ending in the soil or quaters about what this would benefit you more. Jiu-Jitsu teaches you struggling to help you control a female opponent and possibly submit (choke, arm locks, etc. ..) Without harming her. You're less likely to have pressed charges if it hit someone. It also works against opponents bigger men, this is what was created. I think the Gracies have a gym in the area around Berkeley. Search for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in the area. Certainly I am not a practitioner of Jiu-Jitsu to train in a gym MMA which incorporates a bit of everything but I think it would be best for you. Good luck!
