Camping Beaches In San Diego
how easy is it to get around san diego on a bike?
hey everyone,
i’m moving to san diego in a couple weeks from san francisco. i get around on a bicycle up here and was wondering what it was like for cyclists in san diego.
also, what’s it like living there as a whole? for a 21 year old student…hm, i’m kind of a beach bum…if sf’s beaches weren’t so cold i’d be out there a lot more. i enjoy going out with my friends and dressing up in costumes….i’m an aspiring writer and camp counselor….music is important to me and i want to learn how to surf. how easy is it to meet people in general in sd?
thanks to everyone for their response.
It’s very easy. If you can’t ride there you can put your bike on a bus, trolley, train. Just hop on your bike and go to Ocean Beach or PB. You’ll fit in. It’s not hard to make friends at the beach at all. Just show your interest in surfing and you’ll find someone that will be happy to get you involved.
Here is the site of a free weekly magazine that you will probably want to check out all the time. It has great info and all the concerts and clubs in the area. It’s called The Reader and it’s free at any 7-11, or most stores.
