Where is the best place to go in NJ Tri State area to do a bicycling/camping trip?

Looking to do a tour type of ride that has either paved and/or hard packed trails to ride on. Something in a natural setting with camping (preferably cabin) facilities along the way. We will have mountain and hybrid bikes.

The Delaware Raritan Canal is the place to go. Fits your description exactly. If you camp at Bulls Island State Park, you’ll have access to the canal in NJ and PA and be a relatively short bike ride from New Hope and Lambertville, cutesy little touristy towns on the Delaware River.
