Vacation, West Virginia or North Carolina 10pts?

I have never been to either place, living in iowa. I have heard camping and fishing in the mountians of WV is awsome, I have also heard the beach’s in NC can’t be beat. Has any body been to both which did you prefer.

Well.. i don’t know much about the beaches in north carolina, but i know myrtle beach in SC is really nice.

I love it here in WV.. if you vacation here, do it in southern, WV. The mountains are beautiful, the scenery is breathless, and there is an endless amount of things that you can do outside.

If you pick WV, definitely go to southern WV. Don’t stay in a hotel- Rent a cabin.. they are really nice and clean, they have grills and hot tubs, you can get one with plenty of room, and you are out there in the pretty scenery and it’s very peaceful. Either go to this site: http://www.class-vi.com/
or this site: http://www.aceraft.com/

There are all sorts of vacation packages in which you can rent a cabin, go rafting, horseback riding, hiking, repelling.. whatever suits ya… plus, often times if you get a package it will be a better deal since rafting and etc can get expensive. By the way, definitely go white water rafting.. you enjoy all kinds of amazing scenery plus you go right under the New River Gorge Bridge. If you don’t know what that bridge is, its the longest and highest arch bridge in the western hemisphere. You must also go to the bridge over look. I know a really really nice trail, its about a mile long hike, that overlooks the bridge and it is the best view ever.. however, if you arent up for that there is a tourist center with stairs that lead to a public overlook place.

I know just about all there is to know about southern WV because Ive spent my whole life (20 years) there lol. SO if there is anything else at all you would like to know, feel free to send me an email on here and I will help ya.

A GREAT place to run, bike, inline skate, swim, kayak, fish and camp.
