I was reminded of my favorite movies of today. I was driving back from a successful meeting through a beautiful quiet, the only way full heath with some great music on the stereo and very positive feelings and thoughts in my mind and body. The film is Boiler Room and the phrase "motion creates emotion" (at least in my memory) came from there.
In the film, is wrapped in a training camp essentially aggressive to potential new players in the room boiler, dubious "investment company, which is delivered with passion by Ben Affleck. But even something that is used in applications such as this has been incredibly negative useful, positive benefits for us all.
I have reached the end of a hectic week this week – charges has been going on, loads has Indeed, it has been a great success. One of the reasons is that I've been moving around much. I had to go to meetings, I have done and taken all at the same time call standing and walking around, waving his arms, and I've even run a client event that was the cycle for my car was in service. The positive benefits of not being Static is amazing – the exponential increase of the energy created by the use of energy is incredible.
Again, this is something else I found in my recent NLP course. Sales of cold calls are one of the least favorite parts of my job, but unfortunately they are necessary from time to time. As part of the course, inspires some of the times when I'm energetic and fired up, and then translated through those times when I'm making sales calls. The major differences are on the move.
In front of customers in a management training course, I am standing, moving around, active and energetic. By using experiential training techniques, I'm in the outdoors, being physically challenged. When I'm on my bike, I am pushing myself to ride harder faster, longer. When I'm climbing, you stretch mentally (I'm afraid of heights!) And physically to tighten up routes and longer. And curiously, I feel great at all times!
Know, understand, and (most importantly) the belief that it is the key to other parts of my job better thus. If I feel good when I'm active, why would I spend more than absolutely necessary to be quiet? If I get the energy of motion, why I was going to make any phone calls while sitting?
It is often really simple things that was lost, but can make the biggest difference. Try it. The next time you're on a phone call, get off your seat, walk, wave its arms around, and really engage in conversation as if you are talking about was right in front of you. Even if it seems fun to your colleagues, you do not mind, because the results you get is so positive, everyone around you will end up asking you how!
