Income Tax Deducted: Is it possible to have none deducted on my T4? Help!?

Hiya,
I’ve been working at a cadet camp for the past couple of summers doing kitchen work. Every year I always get income tax deducted on my T4′s but when I got this years back after I noticed when I filed it was so low, I saw that where it says Income tax deducted it was left blank.

I’m a 21 year old and I made 2,358.20 over 2 months of work
The only other two boxes I have on my T4 slip besides my contact info is:
Employee CPP: 90.05
Employee EI Premiums: 42.45

I have many friends and family that also worked there for the same amount of time making the near the same amount of money and they al got income tax deducted and some are older and younger then me. I checked my pay stubs to find out that the income tax deducted part was always left blank.

I thought they had to take income tax out of your cheque? What should I do about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I forgot to add that I was working full time as well if that makes a difference.

When you file your taxes, the CRA will also refund the CPP to you as you earned less than $3,000 during the year.

If they didn’t withhold any taxes on your pay stubs it makes sense there will be none deducted from your T4. As TE said they likely didn’t deduct anything because of the TD1 you filed when you commenced employment.
