Camping Long Beach Washington

Long Beach, Washington – in search of dispersion for camping, where to camp in the dunes?
Talk to someone at the Visitors Bureau and said that there was on the same beach camping, but camping is allowed on public property in the dunes. She could not specify where that is … any information would be great! Beachdog, thanks for the info. The sites look great, however, my girlfriend and I prefer dispersed / primitive camping is free. So you're saying the information received from the Tourist Office is wrong, and you can not camp in the dunes on the beach? He mentioned that should be above the water line and on public lands. Thank you!
We regret that you did not get what you need from our local visitors bureau. In general, do a great job. No camping on the beach from here but not the big camping. There are more than 1,000 RV spaces on the Peninsula: Some of them also have http://funbeach.com/lodging/rvparks.html shop spaces, the page that says. Cape Disappointment State Park is another great spot for RV and tent: http://www.capedisappointment.org/visit/cape_d.html This weekend will be a madness! With July 4 being on Saturday, there will be more people than usual visit. Combine that with the kind of fireworks can be purchased in Western Australia and the beach may seem like a war zone. If they come out, join us at the beach cleanup on Sunday genial! UPDATE 06/30/09 http://funbeach.com/events/beachcleanup/index.html It is true that you can not camp on the beach (State Highway) or in the dunes, which are privately owned or protected public lands. The line above the water thing is true, but you have to find someone with the land that will allow camping in it. All dunes are public lands and environmental protection parks without camping as use allowed. It's really one of the things that makes our beach unique, unlike other beaches, dunes we do not develop. The dunes are fragile and constantly changing 8.2 miles, paved Discovery Trail is an awesome way to experience them on foot or bicycle motorized transport (, skates, etc.) There is a small Radar Ridge camp, DNR land, but is closed now. Here is a page with information (scroll down) and http://www.funbeach.com/attractions/picnics.html … DNR here is the link where you can find when it opens again. http://www.dnr.wa.gov/RecreationEducation/Topics/OpenClosureNotices/Pages/amr_pacific_cascade_region_rec.aspx # Pacific I see Turnerville Camp is open, I have not been there: Open all year. Popular with walkers, hikers, walkers and equestrian area Turnerville camp is out of Naselle, Washington. The road is bumpy, but the road itself is easy. Access to horse and human water sources, ample parking, picnic areas and camping good. There are restrooms at the trailhead, camp and trails are approximately 6 miles long. Wait trails through the trees, old logging roads and yards. Drive 6.4 miles west of Rosburg on State Route 4, then turn north on Salmon River Road. Western Lake and Snag are Turnerville every 20 minutes from the beach. There is a solar belt where the climate is often only degrees warmer than farther inland. The only camp I know about the beach near the State Park and RV parks. I hope that helps!
