When traveling on business, you may not have the opportunity to choose where to go. Chances are, you go where your boss tells you to go, even if this is where I mean go. But from time to time may be an occasion or two when you can choose between the cities: the conferences, if not identical in twelve different cities, could only get to visit the city you want.

When this happens, there may be a variety of factors to weigh. You may want to go to Chicago so you can visit a sister close. You may want to travel to New York so you can see the city. You may want to go to London so I can fly abroad for the first time. Or simply want to go where you will be safer. A recent survey by Morgan Quitno Press can help you do just that. Near the end of 2006, this survey released the safest cities, the following are the top five:

Brick, New Jersey: It will take more than a big bad wolf to bring down this brick. Located in Ocean County, New Jersey, Brick is a city of just over 76,000 people. A city within the beaches, bays, and the Atlantic Ocean, Brick is on a peninsula of security. Since 2000, the brick has been the safest city in New Jersey and one of the safest in the United States. Although it has been previously ranked fifth safest and most secure secondly, the results of the latest survey instead of bricks on top of the stack.

Greece, New York: Located in Monroe County, the town of Greece should not be confused with the country, in this town there is much less tragedies and comedies more. A city made up more than 94,000 inhabitants, life in Greece by the motto "Discover the Promise." For now, the promise is security. Known as a suburb Rochester, Greece was once rated the ninth safest city. More recently, it was considered the second safest.

Orem, Utah: Tucked safely in Utah County, is close to Orem, Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard. It is also about 45 minutes south of Salt Lake City. The fifth largest city State, Orem has a population of just under 90,000. Maintenance of "the family city USA" as its motto, Orem, until now, has told the truth: does little, ranked third safest city in the country.

Irvine, California: Part of Orange County, Irvine is the fruit of many things. A planned city developed by – Go Figure – The Irvine Company, Irvine became an official city in 1971. One of the largest cities in the safe list, the population of nearly 200,000. Many of these people are students or computer users: Irvine is home to several universities and technology-based companies. The number four on the list, is also home to safety.

Troy, Michigan: Although Detroit is one of the most dangerous cities, Troy shows that the apple does not fall far from the tree. A Detroit suburb of Troy, Michigan is home to a population of 80,000. A shopping center and offices, Troy is also known for sports, which was named the 2003 Michigan sports town by Sports Illustrated. While the Trojan story was a place of war and violence, Michigan's Troy is in the list of safest cities in the number five.
