Lake Texoma was impounded in 1944 and is located in the Red River in North Texas on the border of Texas and Oklahoma, northwest of Denison and Sherman, Texas. It has 74,686 acres of water with a maximum depth of 100 feet and a pool level of 615 feet to 619 feet MSL

The lake has the following species: Blue & catfish channel, White & striped bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, smallmouth bass, Black and white crappie and bluegill.
