i need help about asking my parents about my boyfriend and the navy?

My boyfriend is going to the Navy boot camp in October and he is going to graduate sometime in December and he wants me to go even though i live in california and he is going to be in IL how do i bring this up to my parents, not to mention he is going to pay for me?
not to mention it will be in the middle of highschool year.
lol and to clear that up he doesnt want me to move across the country he just wishes for me to show up to his Graduation of Navy Boot Camp then ill stay with him for a while and then go home

Honey, you’re still in high school. Why on Earth would you want to move across the country with your BOYFRIEND while you’re still in high school? You should stay at home with your parents until you graduate.. Then make the decision to move with him or not. If he wants to be with you, then he’ll understand you staying home to finish high school and not following him for boot camp.

EDIT: Since you’ve added details.. If he just wants you to come up for graduation and he’s willing to pay for you to come, then it shouldn’t be a problem..Especially if it’s on a weekend or something. Just tell your parents that it means alot to you and him that you be there for his boot camp graduation.. And that he has it covered financially and they have nothing to worry about.. And ask them.
