Glasses in the rain…?

Is there any way to keep glasses dry in the rain? Or at least stop it from smudging when I wipe the water away? Or at the very least stop it from fogging when going from cold outdoors to warm indoors (I heard there’s some kind of anti-fog equipment available?)?

It’s just really annoying when you’re on a walk and its raining or you’ve gone camping and you can’t see because your lenses are blurred with water, and then when you wipe the water away it just ends up smudged and even more blurred.

Any ideas?
OK, getting tired of repeating this most obvious rule which some jokers still don’t understand:

And thanks to those who are providing helpful answers.

Oakley makes a new hydrophobic spray for lens. It is some cool stuff. Check it out at Oakley.com. It is on all there polarized lens.
