Bobcats, however small, is surprisingly powerful for its size and do not wish to challenge his razor sharp claws and teeth. A similar species, the lynx has noticeable tufts of hair on ears and tail rounded.

If you bring your family pet along the camping adventure especially alert when leaving promenade where it could encounter a wildcat. Most dogs will not back down and escape and almost certainly on the losing side in any fight.

Research of the species is known that the habit of the region to be visited, and take necessary safety measures when you're there. Store any smell of feet in airtight containers before and after meals, and maintain any rubbish saved from your camp.
