Where is the cheapest to go on vacation?

My boyfriend and I are trying to save for a wedding and a house, but still would like to go on vacation this summer .. any idea? We live in PA. We would take a week. Driving would probably be cheaper than flying. I do not know if people share a villa with we do not know it would be nice, anyone doing it before?
