Looking for a good place to camp in Colorado?

I want something that you can camp in a tent, but I will not do any back country camping. I've been looking at some state parks and although they have available tent sites also seem to be overrun with RVs and campers. I do not mind being close of campers another store, but I do not want to be caught between a handful of homes. Can anyone recommend a good place to have been camping in? Also I want to enjoy something with a lot of hiking trails.

You can camp at the park's horse ranch. Bathing facilities, but only beautiful place to camp. Not far from Lake Irwin. Many of the campers horse, but will not bother you. The trails are fantastic. Lots of hiking. This place is only nothwest Crested Butte, Co.
