I’m looking for a good place to camp near Columbia, MO?

My fam. and I are going on a camping trip this July. We are looking for a place that is more like “traditional” camping. Not a big campsite with resturaunts or cabins. Just tents and things like that. Any suggestions?

My family has gone to Montauk State Park for the past 55 years. It does have cabins available, but you’re welcome to tent camp just the same. There’s nice fishing there. If there’s kids, we always liked crawdad fishing too. It’s very clean, as well.
