Fall is by far one of the best times to fish any lake boca chica. This is a good time to catch their limit of big fish.

Smallie time to stock up for winter, a time when there are more likely to get belly full of shadows or whatever bait is available at the lake.

So the key is to locate bait. That's where the smallie.

Your focus in the fall will not be much different than in the spring. Establish sites in the shallow shelf near deeper water (floors plummet), mounds of rock and patches in banks with mixed grassland

Fish can be at any depth, but above all want to look in 8 to 12 feet of water in the fall.

The best baits for this method are Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, and hard jerkbaits fish quickly. These allow you to cover a lot of water fast. Keep the lure just below the surface.
