Free Camping Gear

I hope to attend the University of Toronto, CA. I'm doing lots of research and planning and have some questions.?
My parents living in the U.S.. Now I live with them and have all my belongings in your home. They are willing to mail some of my songs for me since I can not take all what I like to have in school with me when I go there. What categories of items would be easier and quicker to get through customs, the U.S. mail to Canada? We thought it would be easier to send as items together to simplify and expedite the process. These are the categories we have found so far: books family photos video tapes clothing camping gear and extra beds towels tax preparation procedures – the income, printer, etc. art camera equipment – from multiple cameras – photos and video Please feel free to suggest any other category that I consider. Thanks for your input:)
It does not matter, everything custom in my experience is almost the same (except possibly for material such as prescription medicines and food). You should not send the camera team, the post office will not take it, just like you, the lenses could be broken. The same with the printer, and photos (if they are framed with glass). If you choose to mail it, make sure that is bundled * very * well, a lot of filler. Clothes, camping equipment, towels, sheets, pictures, books, you can mail it to everyone separately, but heavier and bulkier than it is, the more you pay. Unless you are going winter camping, you probably will not need any camping equipment. As for all that you mentioned, remember: if you send yourself, sometimes you can payment of duties and tariffs, it may be cheaper to just rent a U-Haul truck and drive over yourself. No Do not mail tax documents, take yourself. If you have to mail them, insure them, and mail.
