hiking and camping in pa

We are a group of Malaysians, we sometimes travel adventure, this time to Vietnam's Fansipan.

Get picked up at the station LAOCAI train and transfer to sa pa, we stopped at the hotel, has a shower room, breakfast, prepared our gear for the trek ahead.

On the way hiking Mt Fansipan, Vietnam,

Driving the jeep along up-down, zig-zag path to achieve the step mountain to start our hike. The first sight for us is the great mountain, the hike to the top is quiet easy. we are all eager to conquer.

The lunch was good, much better than I expected. We had baguettes, tomato, cucumber and cheese followed by pear. I read someone else's blog about his trip to Fansipan and had eating rice, noodles and more and more rancid piece of pork for 4 days.

After lunch we had to lose to get to high camp where went to bed. There was another large river to cross, but this time there was no bridge, so he got across with dry feet. Camp 2 was on the other side and was in a couple of wooden buildings.

After getting cleaned up and change of dry clothes we were served a banquet massive food very tasty. We had to remove the fried chicken and mushrooms, beef and onions, tofu, potatoes, cabbage, rice and more. There was double what we needed.

After he was directly to bed. We slept in the camp that our guide and porter had done, it's fun, the field is large enough for our group. Our sleeping place was well prepared, had thick mattress and sleeping bag. It was quite comfortable and not feel cold at night.

In the morning we were served a bowl really massive vegan noodle soup with a fried egg on top. It is tasty, but too heavy for 6:30 in the morning. None of us managed to eat half of it.

Another difficult day to conquer the roof of Indochina, today we head to the summit of 2200m, then to the camp in 2800 by night. The rise was true climbing the mountain, the higher you go up, the best scenery we enjoy.

We were on top at about 1 pm, had lunch at a large rock in the midday sun and wind, life is great!

Back to the 2800m camp around 5pm, we passed this evening in a house in the park national. Congratulating the winners of the roof of Indochina, our guide killed a pig that had led all the way to pa sa barbecue, we had some wine too.

The last day seems to be easier for us, we went all the way to Pass tonne tram then took a jeep pa sa. It has a room with hot shower.

This was the best trip he had made in Vietnam.
