SAC Koh is a small island, almost kidney-shaped extends just north of Koh Larn. It is very popular with the large number of Asian tourists who come to Pattaya, and water can be very busy especially in the mornings. From midday onwards, tourists tend to go, leaving the diving and snorkeling to enjoy the beautiful bay and abundant corals. This bay is well protected from prevailing winds during most of the year and the water is calm and clear.

There are numerous sites Diving around the island, most are in 3 to 15 meters wide, although in some corals this deeper aspect is found in about 26 meters. The corner Northeast begins with clean white sand moving to the usual range of hard corals as the focus of the island. Corals are here at depths of 1-6m and as around the corner, progress deeper, extending to 18 meters. This corner is home to a hawksbill turtle and the leatherback turtle few and numerous Gray Nurse Sharks. This site consists mostly of soft corals and hydroids on a flat sandy bottom and is home to numerous colonies sea horses, pipe fish and dragon fish. Unfortunately, the diver must take this dive at the right time of day when all the soft corals are open, to really enjoy the many beautiful pastel colors and fluorescent colors present.

The best time to be here is after noon, when the hordes of tourists leave the island to return to Pattaya. It's a shame we do not have regulations in place to protect these corals and visitors see them.

Turning to the northwest corner of Koh Sac, leading out of the coral in the bay, corals extend deeper to around 15 meters as the divers around the corner.
