Out of ideas?

I had recently posted a ? about my 15 yr. old brother who is completely out of control. Most answers I got was to send him to military school or boot camp. I checked into both and where we live, there isn’t anything like that around here. I am really desperate b/c he is heading down the wrong path quickly and I am afraid that he is going to end up killing himself or getting into major trouble. He has no responsibility, major attitude problems, comes and goes as he pleases, and whenever my mom tells him to do something, he just laughs in her face.
Now he tells us that he smokes weed with a girlfriend and her mom who supplies it other kids his age. I would like to turn her in, but don’t know anything about her. Any suggestions?

In situations like that, tough love is the best answer. Call your Sheriff’s department and tell them you have reason to believe that so-and-so is selling weed to minors. If you know your brother has drugs ON him at some point, have him arrested for possession of an illegal substance. My cousin had major drug issues when he was 17 and his parents (my aunt and uncle) had him put in jail….once out of jail he went to rehab, and now he’s a great person and father of two. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having to go through that, but sometimes, tough love is the only way to help the people you love. Good luck.
