Los Angeles County camping areas?

Hello, I go with my husband, son and friends at a campsite near my home in San Dimas, CA, but I have no idea, someone knows a ggod place to have fun with young children camping?. Any of the woods or the beach is very good too. Something practicall close to home. Thank you.
