How do you submit an Individual National Camping Award application for BSA?

I recently completed the 250 days/nights that I need for the Individual National Camping Award in Boy Scouts, unfortunately no one in the troop knows what to do with the application. It was taken in with all the other award applications to my local scout office but they said something about tuning that in when we recharter.
It seems that the application for the troop’s camping award should be turned in then, not the individual ones.

I`d have the scoutmaster call up the district commissioner or district executive to clarify this for you
