I live in North Carolina, what’s a good 2 week road trip i can take with some friends?

I’m looking to get away for 2 weeks maximum with my friends. I live in NC so keep distance in mind. any ideas for final destinations are great but also im thinking of pit stops as well. im mainly looking for great camping sites. im not looking to spend a thousand on hotels and ive always wanted to go camping so im just looking for a good national park to go to. and stop at some parks and camping grounds on the way. i need ideas HELP

How about take the Blue Ridge parkway north to Maryland, visiting the Shenandoah Valley along the way, the Antietam Battle field, too, then looping over the mountains west through Cumberland, maybe as far as Ohio, but definitely go through Romney W Va,and Green County Pennsylvania along the way, then the road crosses into Pennsylvania at Wind Ridge, then North and back through New York State, and up through to Western Massachusetts and then to Vermont, even into Canada to visit Montreal, then swinging over to Maine, eating some Lobsters, then down through Boston, visiting there, then Providence, visit there, then Connecticut, then New York, through New Jersey to Philadelphia, then south to Baltimore and DC, then through Virginia again to home… (maybe that’s even more than Two weeks)
