Should I bring a long haired dog camping, especially if she’ll get ticks?

We’re going camping somewhere in Northern California for 4 days.I’ve cut her hair to about an inch long and she uses Frontline Plus. She’s a small dog too. Will I be able to see the ticks better if her hair is short? Should I bring her shampoo and other grooming supplies with me?

If you have her on Frontline, she won’t get Ticks. Take her with you, enjoy the trip, don’t worry.
It’s good that you clipped her short to keep all the nature out of her coat. Take a brush to get any dirt off her before she goes into the tent, but other than that, she doesn’t need anything.
