Do you believe anything that Family Radio’s Harold Camping says?

He has predicted both the return of Jesus Christ and the end of the world for May 21, 2011. I was watching his Open Forum show the other day and he was telling a caller to tell her friends about this “big” event and not to bother with future plans beyond that day. He claims that proof of this “awful truth” can actually be found in the Bible.

Harold Camping is a false prophet and a teacher of doctrines of demons … so it’s best to stay away from him.

Sadly, there’s at least one person on R&S (who has numerous ID’s) who believes Camping is “the real thing.” S/he and I have been exchanging terse emails on and off for more than a year.
