I need to make my high school experience a lot more interesting. HELP!!?

So. I’m a junior in high school and I have no interest in joining the popular crowd. However, this doesn’t mean that I don’t want to party or have a good time! I have a friend who lives in another state- her life looks so perfect. She has tons of friends and facebook pictures of crazy times and I wish I had that. I have lots of school friends, but not really any that I party with. I don’t party. But seeing her pictures of dinner parties and beach trips and camping trips and straight up parties make me wish my life was a little more like hers. But I’m pretty shy around people I don’t know very well- how can I have more fun and make more friends?

Get involved with good friends, extra curricular activities, join clubs, and study well. Don’t do drugs or alcohol, do some charity work, and build a good admissions resume for your university application. Good luck with your other time as well and plan a well balanced approach, such as the beach during Spring Break, a trip to the country if you live in the city or vice verse, and become friends with people in other countries, even if only in Facebook.
