Rv Buying – Tips To Save Money And Headaches

RV buying can be confusing and stressful but it doesn’t have to be.  A few good tips will help you to turn a potentially overwhelming situation into a whole lot of fun!

Initially we made a lot of mistakes until we stumbled upon an extensive buyer’s guide and read it cover to cover.  We learned how important it is to get information up front, long before venturing out to a show or dealer.  We had to stay focused and know what we wanted in order to end up as happy campers.  Let’s get you on track.

Tip #1:  Know your products – get as much detailed info as you possibly can.  Listen to RV owners and other campers and remember that sales people don’t have all the answers.

Tip #2:  If you are thinking about buying an RV you probably know that camping vehicles can cost anywhere from a few thousand $$ for a pop-up to hundreds of thousands of $$ for a motorhome. You won’t disappoint yourself or your family members if you know in advance if you qualify for a “Recreational Vehicle Loan” BEFORE you start the RV buying process.

Tip #3:  Check the tow capacity of your truck or towing vehicle.  Too many buyers disappoint themselves when they discover that the RV of their dreams is just too heavy to be pulled by the family pick-up.

There’s so much to learn especially when trying to go through the RV buying process for the first time.  It’s best not to go it alone!  We depended heavily on An Insider’s Guide to Buying an RV and we truly ended up with a great camping vehicle.  We’re more than satisified and you can be too.  Grab a copy and you’ll be on your way to a smooth ride.
