Top 10 Camping Tips

By admin, October 25, 2009 10:15 am

Planning a 3 month tour of OZ – Any help appreciated?

Flying to Perth for 10 days, then flying to Alice Springs for 3 days. Then Campervan tour from Alice Springs down to Adelaide and round coast all the way to Cairns between April – July 2008. Estimated about 5 hours driving every 2/3 days with a 7 day stop in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Cairns).

Any tips would be great…

1. Anyone done this?
2. Is a Hi Top camper comfortable enough for 2(No loo!)?
3. Are there plenty of facilities(WC’s, Showers, Washing) in camp parks?
Thanks,

Hello. I have travel Australia for years and it is alot of fun. I hope you get to the Great Barrier Reef as it is one of the 7th wonders of the world. The campers are fine but i find them really expensive and not worth it to be honest as it is cheaper buying one but that is what i have found and what people have said. There are always heaps of showers and washers in the caravan parks as they are really tough over here with there rules and have to have so many to so many people. If you get stuck and need any advice feel free to email me anytime. Good Luck and let me know how everything goes. Hope you really enjoy yourself.
