Creation West?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Washington (state) to go to Creation – a concert festival. It’s at the George Ampitheatre, in George, WA. Has anyone ever been to Creation or know of any good lodging (either camp grounds or hotels) that are close to there? There was one campground that I e-mailed, and they’re not open that week (which is WEIRD because Creation is the 3rd week of July, what kind of campground is closed in JULY?) Anyway, ANY help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Wow–there is very little in that area. Check out perhaps the town of Quincy. If not there, try Ephrata, Moses Lake, or Ellensburg.

There’s a reason you can’t find much in the way of campground accomodations–they’re pretty sparse. There is a state park in Vantage (Gingko St. Pk.) some 15 miles away, but I don’t know if they have campsites. I’ve been there and I don’t think so. It’s not really an extremely scenic area.
